Jack Sparrow is a basic L-shaped bar that I expect was once a shop of some sort. The front wooden floored bar has banquettes under the front windows that are faced by a serving counter that runs across the rear wall to the right. Up the left is a raised tile floored area with a pool table and some both seating. Sky Sports horse racing was muted on a couple of televisions and another was supplying background music via Gold Radio that comes with adverts. This is a community bar popular with older men who enjoy drinking mainstream lagers.

Named after a fictional pirate from a film franchise that used to be good but has long since gone the same way as Police Academy and Star Wars. Dead basic L shaped interior, bunged out in neon to hide the basic cheapness of the place. Pool table round the side. Chairs and tables set out like a school disco. Locals plenty lubricated but friendly enough. No cask, so a half of Guinness and a quick glance at the rugby. I guess it knows its customer base, and I am not one of them.

Malden man left this review about Jack Sparrow
Now called Jack Sparrow, I wouldn't really regard this place as a wine bar, on passing it was busy and raucous with the football on TV and even so, also full of parent and small children groups. Lots of shiny lager and keg fonts but clearly no handpumps. Not my sort of place at all.
