Curious fusion of pub and restaurant at the end of the shops. The slightly bizarre exterior gives no hint of the stylish modern lounge-type interior, with one very long large room tastefully furnished and decorated in a drawing room style. The front area has sofas and armchairs, the central bar is faced by a raised tabled area while further tables extend off to the back behind a somewhat marooned feature fireplace. A few sports TVs are strategically placed. To the side is a patio, partly covered by an awning, but seems mainly aimed at smokers. Draught beers are restricted to London Pride and Doom Bar but the main selling point is the food, with an extensive Asian menu incorporating Chinese and Indian dishes, with a few burgers etc for xenophobes. Not an obvious choice for a drinking session but pleasant enough if eating.
