A large detached brick built corner pub with green paintwork and beer garden.
The interior of this Everards pub had at least two rooms but i only saw the main room, a part of which was reserved for food, though no menus were out. The decor was white and red, with a few old pictures on the walls, still, it felt quite bare. The service was good, the clientele small, with a music TV channel on, playing some kind of stuff, but at a decent level.
Beer was sadly disappointing; tap stuff, with the MILD keg not being on. On handpull there was Everards Beacon (also a keg version on) which was decent enough - but it was the onlt Everards on. The other choice was Bateman's Miss Luscious.
Happy to wander in, but wouldnt go out of my way again as there was so little in the way of Everard's beers - shame.
