Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Perry Hill Tavern
Large 1960s estate pub, unusually retaining three separate bars - a fairly basic public bar and a small lounge at the front, with a larger and busier lounge (previously an Indian restaurant for a while) at the back. The latter has been given a light refurbishment and currently offers a limited temporary menu. Sadly, the two handpumps on this counter are not in use, but the friendly lady behind the bar explained that they were hoping to reintroduce cask beer fairly soon as a number of regulars are asking for it. Meanwhile, there are a few bottled ales in the fridge, but I went for the Worthington Smooth flow (£2.60) instead.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Perry Hill Tavern
A detached 1960s pub and Indian restaurant in white painted brick, with some red. The low level extension is the Spice restaurant, which is in the former lounge. There is a front patio area and rear beer garden.
The interior has a couple of rooms, one of which is the restaurant area, which i did not see. The bar room is in a light green with a white ceiling, a green and red 60s styled tiled floor and green leather seating and bar stools, all of which now looks a little tired. A few boxing pictures adorn the walls. There is a pool table, punchbag machine and the TV on the wall was tuned to some charty music channel. The service was very friendly and the clientele consisted of a mix of locals. I didn't eat here so can't comment on the food, but a big plus was the fact that the smell didn't pervade the bar room.
Beer; no real ale, all keg, but there was a very good choice, with a couple of ciders and Banks's and an OK M&B MILD.
The basic bar room could do with a scrub-up, but it seems a friendly enough place and keg drinkers would have a decent choice - so perhaps better if you ate in the restaurant bit.
