Elephant & Castle- Charles Wells
Hidden behind bridge 4 on the Oxford Canal, it certainly looks like an inviting canal side pub, advertising good value food, has a huge rear garden, with a big playground for children, disappointingly no real ale.
From a canal boaters point of view this is a reasonable night mooring but if you do go further there is a more quieter area and nearer the next pub! 22/09/09

This is a family pub with a friendly atmosphere and an excellent garden. Food is served daily from a home cooked menu and is good value for money - well worth a visit...
