Greene King identifies Heathy farm as a 500 year old farmhouse that still retains original fireplaces and beams. I found the interior to be bland and thought it strange that the lowest beam in the building is directly outside the gent’s toilets. This is a food led pub so it wasn’t surprising to find a large car park to the front of the entrance. At the rear is a grass covered picnic table strewn beer garden.
I counted four hand pumps on the L shaped bar that were drawing 2x GK IPA and 2x Old Speckled Hen. There was also a standard draught range alongside Peroni and San Miguel. Food is available all day and the mains are priced around the £8 mark. To be honest I found the smell of vinegar to be overpowering. I am unsure if this was coming from the ale or food because I had half a generic lager. My visit was on Friday evening a couple of weeks ago when there was an advertisement for a Halloween party with live music on the Saturday. I am unsure if live music is a regular occurrence.
I didn’t find the staff to be overly friendly and I saw nothing to entice me back. I would walk past if I find myself in the area again.

Had a pint here on Sunday eve, on way to Gatwick. One of Greene King's 'Old English' chain, it advertises being a converted 500 year old farmhouse, but didn't retain any interesting features as far as I could see. There were four ale pumps, but only populated with IPA and Speckled Hen, though my pint of the latter was well looked after. There was a group of presumably local youngsters enjoying playing a light sabre game on a Wii fit connected to the television in the corner whilst I was there, and a couple of other customers. The menu looked quite reasonable, though I didn't try it. I daresay this pub serves a purpose locally, but don't think it's worth travelling to.
