Reasonably large village pub with a dining area at one end and bar area at the far right-hand end. There was also a nice, leafy garden where most drinkers were congregated.
Whilst there were just a couple of cask ales available - 360° Bluebell & Fauna Wild Dog IPA, there was a good selection of craft beers - Staggeringly Good Totally Under Appreciated In My Time, UnBarred Joosy, Powder Monkey Explosion IPA, 360° Sussex Haze & Gun Parabellum, in addition to a still cider - SeaCider Rhubarb on handpull. I'm not sure if CAMRA would consider this one as a real cider, but it was the nearest I found to one amongst 10 West Sussex pubs.
I also seem to recall receiving a discount as a CAMRA member. I'd be perfectly happy to have this pub as my village local.
