Very olde worlde pub inside with lots of comfy seating and cushions. Lots of brass around the walls and a piano, in fact it's a bit chintzy. There's a good loooking fireplace on a raised area to the left. In the corner there's also a quiz machine. 2 handpumps on the bar, but only Holts bitter was available and this had to be pulled through on a Friday late afternoon, so not much of it sold I guess. It was a pretty poor pint as well. I took my beer into the corner by the quiz machine and promptly won a fiver on Battleships, so it wasn't all bad news. I'm glad to see that this place is still open, but it needs some TLC and some decent cellermanship.
