It remains as dismal as ever. 6pm on an weekday evening, empty glasses and dirty plates on most of the sticky tables, usual rotund shaven-headed suspects perched at the high tables which clutter the centre of the room, no doubt wondering if it's time to go and shout at a hotel. A few people munching morosely at their evening meal. Four or five people behind the bar busily doing nothing, I eventually managed to extract a pint of eurofizz when one of them looked up, which I took to one of the sticky tables and watched someone having a megamoan about the quality of her meal, which was replaced by an identical dish.
This is the worst pub in Warwick by a huge margin.

Thomas Lloyd is a standard Wetherspoons with a bar counter up the right that faces a row of high tables down the centre and standard seating up the left, which is raised and split into sections by columns and a chimney breast. The usual standard and premium keg was available and the two banks of five hand pumps were drawing Steel and Oak Brewing’s Easy Stout and Adnam’s Ghost Ship alongside a less interesting selection of Ruddles, Abbot Ale and Doom Bar. Service was fine, but it was a boring stop off.

Fairly unremarkable Spoons. A couple of Silhill beers on alongside the usual suspects. My Blonde Star was decent if nothing special.
