Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Spread Eagle (JD Wetherspoon)
Fair-sized, 'L'-shaped 'spoons in an anonymous parade shop conversion. Variety of seating inside, but no observable features of interest. Just five different real ales from the nine handpumps on this visit - Ruddles, Doom Bar, Abbot, Trawlerboys from Green Jack and Frome Funky Monkey (£2.15, and thankfully in decent form).

This Spoons was also full to the rafters on our Saturday lunchtime visit. A lot of people having breakfast and 99% of the customers from the Carling fraternity. The pub had a slight 1930's style theme, but the majority of the décor was drab. A poor selection on handpump, apart from the Tring Moongazing. This particular Spoons is one you wouldn't go out of your way for.

Fairly standard shop conversion spoons which was very busy on my lunch time visit. Mixed clientèle of locals, families with children. I had Gold from Wold Top brewery which was fine.
