As mentioned previously , one of the smaller Wetherspoons but never the less a decent beer selection - apart from the 'regular' beers. My beer was in good nick , I tried Acorns Admiral IPA. Staff friendly and quite happy for me to make my payment in a selection of 50,20,10,5,2 and 1 pence coins !

Smart little spoons that always seems to have a good choice of local beers on. On my last visit there was Kus Rak and Chinook IPA from Backyard brewery, Sadlers Peaky Blinder, Slaters Pacifica and another one which escapes me - Man In A Hat I think!
The 2 I tried were in excellent shape.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Elizabeth of York (JD Wetherspoon)
Pretty small for a 'spoons, with a typical shop-conversion bar at ground-floor level supplemented by a modest 'U'-shaped seating / dining area upstairs. However, it benefits from relatively light decor and friendly / attentive staff. On the real ale front, the usual suspects are almost an afterthought, with the focus being on a bank of five handpumps with local beers. These included two from Backyard: American Pale (£2.19) and Marynka IPA.
