Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Black Horse
Much extended pub / restaurant, probably once serving the adjacent hamlet of terraced cottages, but now part of a much larger estate with other visitor attractions. The main bar is still at the front but most of the floorspace is taken up dining areas in the new rooms at the back. Also has a large beer garden to the rear plus a children's play area beside the entrance driveway. Four real ales on handpump: Bombardier and Wainwright, plus the local Beamish Pale and Bitter (£3.50)

Fantastic country gastro pub, expect fine dining, fine wines and real ale with fabulous panoramic views in the extensive outdoor beer garden and terraces.
