Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Dominie Cross (JD Wetherspoon)
Routine 'spoons that is hard to spot from a distance because of the small cantilever sign and an absence of pavement tables. However, it does have a reasonable patio beer garden at the back, with some tables under cover. Very modest selection of just Ruddles, Doom Bar, Abbot and Old Hooky (£2.15).

Apparently a former car showroom, garage and supermarket this one is no longer a Lloyds as stated on What Pub. The front part is a sort of shed like structure and the rear is more like a conservatory. There is a substantial patio at the very end. Fixtures and fittings are fairly typical. It was busy on my Saturday afternoon visit and the staff seemed to be struggling.
The ten hand pumps had one unused, two ciders, the JDW Trio Of Doom, Acorn White Oak & Gorlovka Imperial Stout, something called Olde English Dark Ale and Hogs Back Hogswallop. I went for the Gorlovka (£2.29 festival price) which was in good nick.
It's a shame they didn't have more staff on as it seemed OK apart from that.

Decent enough Spoons with a good selection of ales and ciders on hand pump. The England-Wales game was on screens in the pub which I know wouldn't suit some of the reviewers, but at least we won!
