I received news today that WF council had refused permission to turn it into a community hall and place of worship, so come on Antic, what about it!!

That's really interesting, thanks very much for that info.
There's a really big carpark at the back, on Shernhall Street which is where I live, so I don't think that argument would wash with them. Shernhall Street also has no parking restrictions so more cars could park there.

I live a few doors down from the pub and indeed an application has gone in for a change of use. We received a letter from Waltham Forest Council.
Application Number: 2013/0057
Change of use from public house (class use A4) to place of worship and community hall (class use D1) with ancillary residential accommodation and the erection of two single storey rear extentions.
Applicant:

I didn't think it would be a pub again sadly..
Do you know how I can find out how long there has been a public house on that site?
Thanks.
