The Doctors is a sports bar with no real ale. Lots of fizzy choices if that is your thing. I had a bottle of Newcastle! Plenty of screens around.

Amber Taverns, which bought the former Water Poet after it closed earlier this year, has spent £500,000 to refurbish the pub and turn it into a sports bar.

Pub is as described by Soupy and is a lot bigger than it looks from the frontage. We had breakfast here one day when the service was decent, if a bit haphazard and the eggs on both of our breakfasts were rock hard. The hard drinking, old scrote level was very low at 10 in the morning which made a pleasant change. We called in again for a pint later on. There was a decent selection of ales from the festival on the bar plus the usual suspects. The service was good and my pint was in good nick. Quite a decent JDW.
