Open plan, split level pub on Wellington St amidst the new glittering towers of Leeds’ version of Canary Wharf. More pub like than most of the drinking establishments nearby which are modern keg only bars, pricing is rather similar however at £5.90 for a pint of 4% Wilde Child brewed just down the road and it was on the turn. The counter is to the right as you come in, home to four pulls between two horseshoes. As well as Wilde Child there was one from Craven, Wainwright and Acorn Blonde. Quite a mishmash of furniture with low for eating, mainly burgers and pizzas, high stools at drinking shelves and even some comfy armchairs and booths. Lots of screens including in the booths and constant music.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Editors Draught
Modernised Stonegate pub with various different seating / dining areas within the slightly split-level that features the bar to your right as you enter at the front. A bit surprised to find all four handpumps in use, to the extent I failed to note the name of the Yorkshire Heart Brewery beer I had (although I suspect that it was the Blonde in hindsight).

Strongers . left this review about Editors Draught
Staying up the road in a Premier Inn the Editor’s Draft was the first pub I came across that was showing Friday night football. The bar counter runs up the right-hand wall facing some high tables and at the rear some open plan seating is overlooked by the televisions. The football was muted in favour of mainly 90s back music. In the front left is a raised area with booths, I didn’t venture upstairs. There are six craft keg taps on the back bar, but only five actually work. Premium keg was also available alongside Beavertown’s Neck Oil. The four hand pumps were drawing TT Landlord, Acorn Brewery’s Blonde (past its best), Great Newsome’s Sleck Dust and a very nice Milestone’s Honey Porter. I’d pop back in if passing.
