A modern pub built in a retail development,the main selling point is the 2 for 1 pub grub offering.As you walk through the front door there is a lobby area to the left with a flat screen with volume off,a couple of sofas and some comfy chairs in front of a faux Victorian fireplace where you could just sit and drink,while the main body of the pub has a raised dining area with numbered tables and a long bar running along the back wall.There is then a carvery serving area unused on our lunchtime visit,and more dining space beyond.
There is no real ale,just the usual suspects on keg,and the food offering was very much as you would expect in a pubco chain.Cheap and cheery comes to mind,it served a purpose and no complaints from me but there is little to warrant another visit.
