A basic city centre boozer. 2 cask ales were available. Red net curtains give it the appearance of being closed. A thinnish main room with a pool table at the rear. Its nothing special but friendly enough on this day.

When i first went in this pub in the early 80s it was a Bass tied house called The Exchange.
Once inside there is a single long oblong shaped room which runs to the rear,the bar is on the right side,a karaoke machine was in operation to the front left,there is a pool table to the rear,there is a bench seat to the front left where people were waiting to have go on the karaoke,there were normal tables and chairs down the left side.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Pedigree,this beer was ok but slightly too warm.
This is one of Derby's lower end pubs that i always seem to end up in before getting a bus home,i was happy enough having a drink in this pub.

This is a loud, brash bar which was full of very tipsy people on my Saturday evening visit. The place was packed and there were loads of nicotine bouncers outside. I popped in and it was 2 deep at the bar and the karaoke was very loud, so I left it.
