Strongers . left this review about The Silverwell
The Silverwell is a Holts pub with a central lobby bar with seating to the right and another two rooms at the rear, one of which has a pool table. To the left is the main bar area with L-shaped counter that faces banquettes around the exterior walls. To the left of the bar is a dartboard and televisions are found throughout for airing Sky Sports. The bar supports standard keg and two hand pumps, one of which was off which left Holts Bitter as the lone cask choice. Yes the beer range is boring, but this place is well worth the walk out of town for the friendly service and to have a nose around t’olden days.
