Quite a bizarre experience visiting here on a Friday night. The pub was very busy and in the front right hand side lounge there was a DJ/Karaoke in full flight. Lots of blokes pissed up on lager singing and dancing throughout the place. At the bar there was a fine choice of Carling or Fosters. We tried one of each, cheap as chips and like drinking a glass of sugar. Sweet Caroline got everyone fist punching the air and one rendition of Daydream Believer, by some bloke, was so bad it was hilarious.

Ripped out pub that is now all one large room. Aimed at the younger and less discerning elements of Halifax. I was very tempted to follow OB's actions below and walk straight out, but as I had just done that at the nearby Portman & Pickles I decided to stay. I had a half of Fosters and a winning couple of games on the quiz machine paid for it, which was some consolation. This is a loud, brash and untidy place which was full on a Friday evening, but I suspect it's dead through the week. I certainly won't be calling here again, it's pretty poor all round.

a humdrum modern town centre pub just like hundreds of others, it does have a couple of pulls but the clips were reversed so I reversed out the door.
