A strange little bar tucked away at the end of a snickleway. Long and narrow at the front it widens a little towards the back, there are tall tables and stools at the front with lower tables and chairs in the back room. A single half horseshoe has beers from Brew York and a Guinness, a trio keg font has another Brew York and a cider. A large screen was showing mad wrestling involving step ladders I shit you not. Upstairs is a nice conservatory type area and the toilets, the gents urinal has saloon doors! Next door is unisex. Overloud piped music too.

After a spell as a Japanese restaurant, this has reverted to being a bar. It is fairly narrow and the front room is rather garish and noisy, with a little bar counter behind and a quieter tabled room behind that. Upstairs is an interesting glass-topped roof room and outside there is a small courtyard used in the summer. Beerwise, there are 3 keg lines (2 lager) from Brew York plus Guinness, with plans also for a cider. There is a street food concession and live music at weekends. Not a bad little place and friendly enough - just needs a better beer selection.

Called in looking for real ale, and they have fonts only. It is a wine bar and bistro.
