The Hockney is situated just off Shipleys market place,the pub has now lost its Smith & Jones signage.
Once inside there is a large single oblong shaped room with the bar facing,the room is part carpeted and wood floor,there is a raised area to the front middle which has bench seating in bays,the lower area has normal tables and chairs,plus a few tall tables and chairs.
There is a pool table to the front right.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Bradford Hockney Pale Ale which went down well and was also quite cheap,the other beers were Thwaites Wainwright,Hobgoblin and Bombardier.
The raised area seemed to be popular with drinkers having breakfasts.
Background music was playing.
Nice to this pub up and running again.
