Sort out as its a previously unclaimed tick in the 2017 GBG.
Well worth it. Packed at midday on a Sunday and still they kept coming in.
Converted house, so small rooms with crammed together tables. Tiny bar, with a chalkboard above detailing the half a dozen ales.
I would have had a Wetheroak Tillermans Tipple but the bar lady wasn't happy with the quality on pouring. Now, thats a nice change!
Instead, I had possibly the finest Wye Valley Butty Bach ever had. And I've had a few!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Weighbridge
Simple, attractive pub by the Alvechurch Marina, with a beer garden to one side and the smokers shelter to the rear (supplemented by a marquee for an imminent beer festival). Retains a two-bar layout with another room at the back; all three of which are on the compact side. Traditional furniture at decor. Fine selection of real ales from six of seven handpumps, with offerings from Wye Valley, Sadler's, Froth Blowers, Weatheroak and two from Kinver - Bargees Bitter and a fine Night Jar mild (£3.10). Well worth seeking out.

A well deserved ten this one, we took the train out of Brum on a Monday eve, especially to visit this pub and we were not disappointed. The pub is only a few minutes walk from the station over the canal bridge, where you will see the pub on the left. The entrance to the pub is at the rear and the main bar is on the front, right hand side.
We received a warm and friendly welcome from the barman and from some fellow drinkers, so it wasn't long until we were all chatting away.
There were five ales and one cider to choose from on this visit. I immediately went for the Kinver Bargees Bitter, which was excellent, my other choice was the Weatheroaks Tillermans Tipple. The food here was also excellent and another customer told us he had driven several miles for his dinner. The pub is spotlessly clean and well run.
Closes at 3 and reopens at 7 during the week.
