Soup Dragon left this review about Woodman Inn
A large brick, black beam and white corner pub, with large gables. The interior is open plan around a central bar area, with a strong Irish influence, with Celtic memorabilia and such like on the walls. What I don’t like about this place is the customer service and beer choice, either I have been unlucky, or they do not know their own beers. Without any real ale, the keg choice is the usual stuff with Banks’s MILD. On the first visit, this we were told wasn’t MILD but bitter, so I just had a half before heading into the better pubs, like the Clifden. It was in fact MILD. On the second visit, the MILD was foaming like a rabid dog. It was rancid. They swopped it for bland Tetley, though I had to pay the difference. Never Again
