Called into this 2011 Good Beer Guide pub earlier this month as it had won the local CAMRA Pub of the Year award. It is also the home of the Yard of Ale Brewery. It is a multi-roomed friendly pub and serves excellent ales. We enjoyed 2 of their own Yard of Ale brews and one from Grays. They host beer festivals, and the next one is for Halloween. There is live music and a function room available.
