The Long Pull is a locals high street boozer with a bar counter that faces tables down the right hand side, a sunken seating area at the rear and a pool and dart room behind the bar. Televisions are located throughout for watching horse racing, which was muted whilst some background music played. Birra Moretti was available alongside a standard keg range and the lone handpump drawing Sharp’s Doom Bar was off. The service was polite, but I don’t plan on revisiting.

The Old Vaults has always been known by the locals as "The Long Pull" It has now been renamed with this nickname.

CLOSED 21/03/2022 for a five week refurb.

Reopened on time after refurb April 2022.

An extremely down to earth pub. 2 roomed with the room to the right having a sunken area to the rear. Horsey horsey nonsense on the tellies and pretty loud music coming through the speakers - which is fine of a weekend evening but quite annoying midweek afternoon. No real ale and a unique ripe aroma made for a quick visit only.
