A narrow frontage goes back quite a way inside. The bar is on the right and it's like drinking in a corridor. The barmaid was quite chatty as was the only other punter. No real ale here, so I had a quick half of Fosters and moved on.

Largely unspoiled pub opposite Paragon Station, although WhatPub says it used to have more fittings. Mock Tudor exterior leads into a long narrow tap room with the Victorian counter down much of the right hand side. The left side further back has banquette seating with built in drinks trays, by the door is a wider area with banquette seating and Britannia tables. Splendid bar back with almost Corinthian columns, broad tongue and groove walls, parquet floor. Very disappointing beer wise as the six pulls are unused, two T-Bars and a Guinness solo provide very limited alcoholic solstice.

This is not far from Hulls train station.It is long and narrow inside but there are no real ales here just the usual John Smiths smooth ive been in a lot better pubs.
