This is the most "locals" type pub of the Lawrence street collection of pubs with mostly older drinkers on my visit. Two real ale pumps at the side of the bar both not in use, i suspect this is a permanent feature.
Aside from from the slightly strange decor and smell this is quite a nice setting for a drink with lots of characters laughing and enjoying themselves. The beer is very reasonably priced and they sold sam smiths sovereign bitter at a very reasonable £1.90 a pint and it was a reasonably nice drink.
I hop plans to demolish this pub are not given the go ahead as it would be a same to lose, although the lack of real ale could be addressed I would visit here again.

2 real ale taps 1 on during visit. The pub has a pool table and a dartboard. Live music advertised.

This is a small one roomed pub with different drinking areas around the bar,there is sky sports here and a couple of handpumps on the bar with Theakston XB which was a decent drink.
This pub is very near three other pubs so it is ok for a quick half if on a pub crawl.
