Surprisingly good for a seaside pub. To be fair, I wouldn't go anywhere near on a summer weekend, but luckily my visit is off-season, mid-afternoon and mid-week. I spotted the Cask Marque sign outside and was pleased to find a very good Timothy Taylor Knowle Spring (NBSS 4) although it's not really my sort of beer. Service was very friendly - the lass behind the bar was talking with some regulars about Keir Starmer appearing to have said "sausages" when "hostages" would have been appropriate. I joined in while waiting to be served and felt very welcome. The decor is good quality, and altogether this feels like a good pub.
