Now called Mannerist. Popped in last night to have a look. No real ale and not many customers. Sadly all the ones who were in were shrieking girlies, so we left it.

It didn't end well, closed last weekend.

Closed as Cuba and now reopened as Emblem doing exactly the same thing as Cuba, i.e. loud music and fizz. It's not going to end well.

Small lager only bar that lives two lives. During the day it is food oriented and serves lunches to the shoppers etc. It doesn't open on weekday nights but at weekend it transforms into a loud DJ bar which is full of youngsters and opens until the wee small hours. It's a strange little place that really doesn't know what it wants to be. Not really worth the effort as there are plenty of other better bars in the town.
