Less-than-attractive ‘spoons just off a pedestrianised shopping strip and situated beneath an ugly ‘60s’ office block.
This is a simpler offering, close to Cardiff university buildings, so expect students.
I went for a half of the Nottingham Legend, marked as good.
As Graham mentions, does what it says on the tin; the Flute & Tankard is opposite.

Opposite the Flute and Tankard,also in the 2025 GBG it quite a modest interior with little of note but it was tidy enough.Beside the Trio Of Doom the real ale selection was Thornbridge Jaipur (NBSS 3.5) Brains SA,Rhymney Export and Glamorgan Tunderbird IPA.Worth a quick crawl visit but not somewhere to base yourself for a session.

Pretty standard Spoons compared to the others in the city centre. Nowhere near as busy either. Located quite a way from the others. Not much here to shout about.
