Turtle Bay is a large Caribbean themed restaurant. Adjacent to the entrance there is a square bar with eight fonts, seven Red Stripe and one Brixton Lager. I’m a fan of Jerk and I like Reggae music so this would probably be a good location for a meal out, but nobody would go here just for a drink.

Absolutely awful bar which isn't a patch on the Paramount JDW next door even though it's in a similar space. Complete mismatch of chairs, tables, and decor with apparantly random objects dotted around the walls. 4 handpumps serving nothing interesting at all on my visit except Tolly English Ale which of course doesn't exist as Tolly Cobbold were closed in 2002, it's really brewed by Greene King. It was a pretty average pint as well. With this now being branded as a Smith & Jones pub I thought that they may have made an effort. However it looks like Varsity (which is what it used to be) with some new signage. I doubt I'll ever call in here again unless there are some major changes.

Large modern pub, which feels like it started out being a 'spoons then the interior designer went mad! Flying paintings, randomly placed door frames, odd lighting and a strange collection of furniture (but they forgot the ceiling). Despite that, not unpleasant, although the music was a little intrusive. Had some interesting ales on which were drinkable.
