Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Albert
Landmark pub / restaurant on a busy junction in the centre of town. Refurbished in a smart, semi-traditional style with various seating / dining areas and side rooms around the central servery. Also has some outdoor tables in the yard to one side, several of which are under cover. Plenty of people still eating on a sunny afternoon, but service was quick and there were plenty of staff to take food and drink orders, clear tables, etc. As a Robinsons house, I found four of their beers - including the 'Hartleys' Cumbria Way - available from the various handpumps.

Previous review pretty accurate, but will add comment that food is pretty good too. XB in very good condition.

The Albert is on a very busy road junction in the middle of Bowness.
Once inside the bar was facing and there was one long room that ran across the front of the pub this room had lots of different drinking areas, the left side had bare boards and padded chairs that looked quite comfy, the pub was decorated in the modern style but it seemed a decent enough place to have a drink.
There was another room upstairs which may have been a childrens room.
This pub used to be an Hartleys tied house but Robinsons have now put their own signs on the pub, there were three real ales on the bar we had a drink of Robinsons Unicorn bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Robinsons Young Tom and Hartleys XB.
