Excellent pub, especially recommended for the large portions of home-cooked food. Has several good ales, including a mild or stout. Occasional beer festivals too.

Small pub next to Howden Railway Station.
Always 4 real Ales available in this award winning house which also boast a car park on the Howden side of the pub and a large beer garden at the rear.
Good food offering has also received very good reviews.
Pub often has special nights including and over St Georges week will hld a number of special events with a wide range of guest beers and ciders.
