Out of Hackney and through London Fields to find this handsome and large pub. The words "Dining Room and Pub" gave the game away. I knew it was going to be gentrified and set out for casual dining, with a QR code on the table.
Room upstairs (unexplored), iron staircase up and down and a large main room. Tastefully decorated, with lots of art work. Plenty of outdoor seating.
Only cask was Youngs - so went keg, with a Five Points XPA coming in at £7.50.

Our AI reviewer has got it totally wrong .This street corner pub does have some interesting features but is keg only ,the two handpumps stand unused and forlorn.Several external doors hint at a previous multi room layout but these days the doors are unused and the interior is open plan. There are some large libation adverts in screens, exposed brick work along one side and a spiral staircase both to the first floor ,unvisited by me,and down to the loos.Mainly high tables with some dining tables to the periphery.
The food menu with median mains £16 read well, but I was just in for beer and had to make do with a Neck Oil at £7.Muzak was playing at a sensible volume, fairy lights above the long bar added some much needed illumination on a dank evening while the wood covered ceiling was anothjer worthy feature.
The lack of real ale was an issue ,I just didn't warm to this pub and the customer base seemed transient in what is a really upmarket area where punters probably expect a lot more quality .

Corner pub with bar to the rear. No real ales - two hand pulled ciders, rest keg.
