Lots of good cask choices. Apart from Ruddles, Abbot and Doom Bar, Ranmore from Surrey Hills Brewery plus Hop Troll from Tillingbourne, Twickenham Autumn Red, Mad Squirrel Evolve, Cockeyed Cider Co Pear Mania (a strong one), old Rosie cider, Salcombe Island Street Porter. Keg options were Stowford Press, Worthington Creamflow, Kopparberg strawberry & lime cider, Stella, Shipyard Pale Ale, Corona, original and dark fruits SB, Punk IPA, Budweiser, Guinness, San Miguel, Blue Moon, Carlsberg, Bud Light, Carling, Coors, Leffe Blonde.

This is what I would call an old school Spoons. Really long narrow rectangular venue with loads of the typical JDW seating arrangements. Most were small rectangular tables or some tall tables with high back stools. Carpeted throughout apart from tiles around the bar counter which was towards the front on the right-hand wall. The bar counter and the walls were wood panelled, and the walls held paintings of local scenes as well as a good number of quite small TV's tunes into BBC News on my visit. Ceiling fans whirred away but not really needed on quite a cool afternoon, but I suppose they kept the air fresh in a very busy venue. The left-hand side had a few screens jutting out from the wall to break up the length of the venue a bit.

A small former shop the entrance is narrow, the interior quite long.Bearing the JJ Moon's name,I can only assume this was an early 'spoons outlet not far from the first in Streatham I believe.Decor wise it's old school with wood panelling, large mirrors, seperate sections and some high tables, the rest dining style. The unused fireplace mid ships is also typical, all faux but now somewhat pleasing. The very large fruit machines were less pleasing but well used. The regular old boy all day drinkers included a dead ringer for the chief RAT and he was also reading Viz !
Two ranks of handpumps featuring the trio of Doom but decent guests on my trip in Thornbridge Jaipur IPA (NBSS 3.5),Phoenix Wobbly Bob and Wilde Child Eye of the Tiger and Venerable Allegiance. This justified the 2026 GBG entry, this is still the cheapest ale outlet in gentrifying Tooting although a little pricier than some 'spoons and somewhere I would happily return.

Quite small for a spoons pub, two sets of five pumps, the furthest bank reserved for the usual suspects, the nearer five a bit more interesting,my Purple Moose Madocks Ale was in decent shape. Not a particularly interesting place but have been in worse.
