March 2010: A 1930s half brick and half yellow rendered corner pub
The interior is open plan, bending around the bar with a pool table one end, a slighly raised area with sofas and large pull down screen TV in the middle and a seating area the other end. The decor is white, with red paintwork. The service was really friendly, the clientele is now over 25s only, no hoods etc, as the pub tries to redefine itself. When i visited during the day the place was well attended.
Beer; all tap stuff without even a MILD
Sadly, the choice of beer is very basic, so there is nothing to make me want to go back
