Gosta Green is a large L-shaped student pub located a stones throw from Aston University. The long central L shaped wooden bar with tiled inserts supports premium keg alongside some Camden Brewery options and Neck Oil, cask is no longer supported. Split-level seating, mostly raised, runs up the wall opposite the longer length of bar and at one end is a large open plan area with three pool tables, two dartboards and numerous televisions that compliment a projector on the rear wall, Cheltenham horse racing was muted while some modern club music played in the background. From a student perspective this is a decent pub, but as a middle-aged man I think I’ll give this place the swerve if I found myself in the area again.

Pot of Beer to me - used to be mad busy in my student days. Google maps suggesting it was temporarily closed but it was indeed open on a bank holiday lunch time.

Huge pub, L Shaped, with loads of TV screens. Pool table. Other entertainment. Gig posters on the walls.

Staff outnumbered punters three to one. There was only me in there.

I didn't notice any cask but a lot of (expensive) craft keg. A couple from Attic chosen. In a half.

A trip down memory lane but not much to recommend for the pub tourist.

A large pub that's L-shaped inside. As its set into the Uni it has all the hallmarks of a student bar. Its not that bad to be honest and is a bit hard to find (and even harder if you've got my map reading skills). 4 handpulls dispensing a fairly bland selection. Lots of tellies.
