The Heritage hotel advertises itself as a bar and diner, but I think that the major draw is the large seating area full of picnic tables out the front that overlook Tor Bay. To be honest the interior is nothing special with an L shaped bar and more seating beyond where two pool tables can be found. There are a couple of plasma screens for showing Sky Sports and some background music was playing which is also piped outside to the front seating area. I got the feeling that the average age drops considerably at the weekends when there is a late license.
The service was friendly, but only standard draught was available and the menu seemed to mainly consist of pub grub.

On a hot summer’s day this place is worth a visit, but I wouldn’t bother if the weather dictates that the day is to be spent indoors.

There is no real ale here, but what a location! You can sit outside and stare across Torbay relaxing on a fabulous beer garden. Well worth a visit just for the views.
