This large two roomed pub is quite soulless during the day with a bland grey interior to match. Noticing the stage area and equipment in the main bar area, I think this pub is more geared up as a music venue pub of a night. Six handpumps on the bar, with two in operation, serving up Old Peculiar and a Saltaire Gold. My Saltaire was in good shape and prices in here were reasonable. A friendly enough pub and ok for a swift one.

Recently reverted to its old name of Lewins this is a two roomed pub. To the left there is a small room which is more of a lounge, but with really crap wallpaper. The main room goes back a long way and looks to have originally been two rooms. There's a pool table and a quiz machine at the bottom end and comfy sofa's around the fireplace at the top end. 6 handpumps on the bar, but only 2 on serving Tetleys Bitter and Saltaire Blonde. The Saltaire was a decent pint and I was offered a 10% CAMRA discount. The landlord has only just taken this pub over and it's obviously still a bit of a work in progress, but I wish him well.
