A functional Spoons in a large modern building, a bit characterless perhaps and heavily populated with diners. It loses a point however as the bar person suggested Doom Bar when asked if there were any dark beers on!

Two banks of hand pulls for cask ale, most of which were in service though there was at least one that was off for line cleaning. Mainly canteen style tables downstairs, but upstairs offers more interest in the way of booth seating. Toilets are also upstairs. There is a small covered seating area looking out onto Centenary Square, though one of the tables appeared to be occupied by a rather unsavoury looking group who did not appear to be pub customers.

Forced in here early doors due to lack of other breakfast options and actually found a decent guest beer lineup from six of the ten handpumps, I settled for a Wilde Child Humble Beginnings that was in decent shape. I'm not a Spoons fan boy but this one was half decent.
