Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Slug & Lettuce

Rectangular bar / restaurant, with the expected anonymous modern furniture and decor. Front patio of almost equal size with some large umbrellas providing cover. Just Pride (£3.95) available from the two handpumps. Dull.

Quite a plain modern styled interior. 1 real ale and food served.

I was surprised to see a hand pump in here drawing Bombardier, although the Pride was draught. Standard lagers are also available with Pimm’s and lemonade also on tap. There was a projector screen set up for showing the World Cup, but there is no Sky. Two for one cocktails are available from 16:00 until 22:00 Thursday until Saturday and food is served all day.

There is some outside seating, but unlike most bars along this stretch they are not waterside.

I thought that the staff were friendly, but this could be a slug and Lettuce anywhere and I wouldn’t choose to go in any of them.
