Returned to this pub as it is under new ownership, after a gap of a few years due to bad experience during previous owner's tenancy. We were delighted that the pub hadn't changed and we were greeted by very friendly bar staff. After ordering our drinks, we sat down to peruse the menu, in addition to the menu, may other dishes were advertised on chalk boards. Hubby had a steak and I requested a small portion of lasagne, this was no problem (I have often had trouble in other establishments, where they have refused to serve me small portions as I'm over 14 years old!)Our meals arrived quickly and were cooked to perfection (I would have hated to face the adult portion...just managing to finish my meal!)Great value, good grub, plentiful choice and lovely barstaff oh,,,and the PROPER chips, will ensure our return!
