An extensive multi roomed Vintage Inns dining pub, sat in a riverside location beside the River Aire. Older and built in stone the interior has been relentlessly but tastefully modernised in Vintage’s style, modern flags with mixed woodwork, a bit of tongue and groove, a touch of Lincrusta and a selection of tasteful prints. A splendid bar back to the long counter with a collection of kegs plus five pulls opposite the car park door, three of which were in use on my visit; Black Sheep, Taylors and Wainwright, quality was distinctly average. A distinctly aged demographic too of a Friday lunchtime.

I've never been in but used to cycle past en route to the canal towpath. The food smells delicious. It always made my mouth water as I passed and I would see the diners tucking in and I was envious and wished I was with them enjoying some pub grub and a pint.
But sadly I was unemployed and unable to afford such luxury.
