Visited yesterday to find ten hand pulls at the bar, split across two banks of five. Guest ales are £1.99 a pint, making it very cheap even for a Spoons.
There is a small beer garden to the rear and a reasonable selection of guest ales to choose from.
Perfectly adequate.

This place gets the name from the original shop once having been a watchmaker and later a jewellery shop that also sold timepieces. It's a smallish JDW that is relieved somewhat by having an upstairs area. There is an unusual curved ceiling in the lower part. I noticed that the breakfasts here are only £2.79 and the standard guest price is also cheap at £2.05. There was a daytime brigade contingent on my afternoon visit.
The ten hand pumps had a fairly limited choice with two unused, Abbot doubled up, two ciders, Ruddles, Daleside Lemongrass Thai PA, Saltaire Kardinal and Moorhouse Blond Witch. I went for the Kardinal (£2.20) which was only in reasonable condition.
I thought this was a pretty average Spoons.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Time Piece (JD Wetherspoon)
Standard 'spoons interior in a slightly cramped layout with a small and unobvious mezzanine along the frontage that I only discovered at the end of my brief visit. Raised patio terrace to the rear. Good selection from ten handpumps, with three from Rudgate including Ale Storm (£1.90).
