A traditional locals country pub well out in the sticks. It's basically one roomed but was probably once two roomed. Furnishings were again basic, wooden tables and chairs spread throughout, some rather rustic and hewn from Yew. Two handpumps dispensing Palmers Copper and Sherfield Lockdown Bitter, I had a pint of the latter served by the ancient looking landlady who had been there possibly on my last visit over 35 years ago. The beer however was not in great shape though all five or six other locals were drinking the same.
A nice enough pub but it's highly unlikely I will be returning in another 35 years or so.
