L shaped interior that seems to have had a refurb since Alan W visited now exposed brick and wooden floors. 2 real ales.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Big Jug
The Big Jug is a decent looking pub.
Once inside there is a decent sized single room with the bar to the front right, the right side near the bar has a tiled floor, the room is carpeted elsewhere, there is bench seating to the left and rear, there were also two TVs to the left showing the Everton v Arsenal game.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Fullers Front Row,this was a decent enough drink.
I would have preferred to have visited this pub when it had live music on.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Big Jug
The fairly traditional facade cloaks a thoroughly remodelled interior. 'L'-shaped bar with a large sports screen, pool table and a DJ / karaoke setup (with live music also advertised). Slightly to my surprise, two beers were available on handpump - Deuchars IPA and Flying Scotsman (£2.65 at the weekend, £2.00 during week). Didn't feel particularly at home here, so I finished my pint quickly and moved on.
