Will Larter left this review about The Angel Inn
It says restaurant on the inn sign, but it is clearly still a pub, despite all the staff being in uniforms and the till producing a receipt for my half of bitter. There are three hand pumps on the bar, with Black Sheep Bitter alongside two from Dark Horse Brewery, which is situated in the same small village. My Craven Bitter hadn't been pulled through properly (I was the first customer of the day for a beer) but this was quickly corrected and it turned out to be a well balanced and refreshing drink. I didn't explore inside the pub, as it seemed to be set up for dining and I was dressed for cycling, but the external pub furniture was very comfortable in the sunny weather which has luckily graced my cycling trips this summer.
