Alan Winfield left this review about The Peacock
The Peacock is a large early 70s built pub on the ridge hill estate that is to the north of the town centre.
This is a Robinsons tied house and once inside there were two rooms that i noticed i went in the bar which was a very large room and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Robinsons bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Robinsons mild.
