This large open plan non-descript high street boozer has previously be known as the Terminal, Varsity and more recently Wild Lime before adopting its current moniker of the Broadway. Seating runs across the front and the serving counter runs up the right-hand wall where it faces a line of high tables up the centre of the pub and booths up the opposite left-hand wall. In the left rear is a pool area with a couple of tables and televisions are found throughout for airing live sport. During a recent Thursday evening visit these were all muted while some background music played to the handful of punters, it was very quiet. The service was polite, but the draught options only stretch to standard and premium keg alongside Neck Oil, although they did have Blue Moon which I quite like. There’s a photobooth in the corner so best to avoid at the weekend, in fact it’s probably just best to avoid.
